Coffee & Tea
Two cups bookend my day: coffee to get going, tea to slow down. Here’s what I’m brewing with right now. It’s a small, opinionated rotation — and very much a work in progress.
☕ Coffee #
Wacaco Nanopresso · current favorite #
My everyday driver. A hand-pumped portable espresso maker that pulls a genuinely punchy shot with a surprising crema — no electricity, no fuss. It’s small enough to travel with, which is exactly why it took the top spot.
Hario V60 · first love & former daily #
The brewer that got me into coffee properly. Pour-over is slow, deliberate, and a little meditative — you control everything: the bloom, the pour rate, the spiral. It taught me what “dialing in” actually means. Still my favorite way to spend a quiet morning.
AeroPress · the occasional change-up #
When I want something forgiving and quick, or I’m brewing for a different mood. Hard to mess up, easy to clean, endlessly tweakable. A reliable change of pace.
🍵 Tea #
I’m a newcomer here. Right now it’s the humble basics — a plain green tea bag to wind down in the evening. No ceremony, no special kit yet, just a gentler companion to the coffee.
This chapter is wide open, so I’m taking recommendations. If you have a tea (or a method) you swear by, the links under my name on the home page are the fastest way to reach me.
